Irvine Valley Walking Festival 2008

This is the 6th Irvine Valley Walking Festival to be held in the towns of Hurlford, Galston, Newmilns and Darvel. There are 14 guided walks around the area, with an emphasis on the ancient history of the Irvine Valley. There are also 2 cycle runs (one supported by Sustrans), a Bat Walk, Moth Walk, Mountain Bike Display.

The inaugural event is a Family Fun Evening at Loudoun Castle Park with a Jacobite duelling display, children's Treasure Hunt, Birds of Prey and Petting Farm visit.
