Caithness & Sutherland Walking Festival 2008

Caithness & Sutherland Walking Festival 2008

The fifth Caithness & Sutherland walking festival presents an opportunity for visitors and locals alike to enjoy the great outdoors and the splendour of this fabulous area of Scotland.

Keep your eyes peeled as you might see an eagle! Visit the proposed World Heritage Site of the Flow Country. Don't miss Dunnet Head, the most northerly point of the UK mainland and be astounded by the vista across the notoriously turbulent Pentland Firth to Orkney, Scapa Flow, John o' Groats and Cape Wrath. Learn about the wealth of wildlife, flora and fauna with the local Ranger Service and festival partner Ardmore Wildlife.
