Fitful Head is one of Shetland's highest headlands and with its summit reaching 283 metres it has breathtaking views over the Quendale Valley below. Walk this route and enjoy some world-class bird-watching and you may also see seals, porpoises and even otters.

Take a bracing and interesting walk along the spectacular seabird cliffs of Marwick Head, where you'll find the Kitchener Memorial. The route also takes in the Earl's Palace and then on to a tidal island with Pictish and Viking remains.
