Description
Start from Straad Village Hall, 3 miles south west of Rothesay. Turn left at the junction & follow the road and track down to the shore. Walk along the rocky shore following a vague path to go through a gate beside the standing stones. The track soon peters out on the shingle bar, but the way ahead is obvious. Return by the outward route.
Access Info
Car parking is limited and the road is narrow - please park with consideration for others.
Additional Info
Two standing stones, enclosed by a fence to protect them from stock, sit near the end of the shingle causeway which leads to St. Ninian's Point. Inchmarnock is uninhabited, having been abandoned and used for navel exercises during the 1939-45 war.
