Description
Mainly an open forest walk, on good tracks; no need for special footwear. This area is noted for its eagles; we watched one for a while, floating on a thermal, near the old chapel. The cemetery at the chapel tells of a long by-gone age when the glen had more people.
Access Info
On the Tobermory--Salen road, nearer Salen, turn off into the Lorne Forest District Aros Office. It's at the roadside, well signposted (553453). You can park there or go on, through the Forestry Offices, to a small car park at 250m (551454).
