Description
Start from Kilchattan Bay; The track uphill to Kelspoke Castle from Kiln Villas is easy to follow; there are waymarks between the reservoir and Hawk's Nib. the alternative walk along the shore is well waymarked and easy going. At Glencallum Bay a steep sheep track winds round the headland and across the hill to the col above Loch na Leighe. Waymarks show the route St Blane's and over Suidhe Hill, back to the start.

Start from Kilchattan Bay. Limited parking is available in the village - please act considerately when leaving a vehicle, or use public transport. Argyll and Bute Councils Travel Guide for Bute is available free from the Discovery Centre in Rothesay.

Glencallum Bay was once a last staging post for sailing boats bound overseas.
St. Blane's Chapel is one of the most complex and impressive of all the ancient religious sites on Bute. Set amongst tall trees and an air of peace and calm. Perfect!
