Description

From the car park beside the tank landing slip, follow the path uphill to the golf course. On the far side of the course detour from the right of way to an old gate in the boundary fence. Then follow a faint path through the marshy ground to join the fence just beyond some gorse bushes. Follow the fence down to Millhouse. Beyond the village, turn left off the B8000 through the gate to Achourk. Note the signpost on the brown of the hill above the loch. Follow the faint path down to the edge of the loch. A clear path, wet in places, runs into the forest and joins the forest road leading to the roadside at Portavadie. Turn right for the car park.
