Description
Hidden away on the Cowal Peninsula Puck's Glen is a magical place filled with gushing waterfalls and enchanting rock pools. This way-marked walk was originally created by the Younger brewing dynasty and is guaranteed to leave you 'merry.'
From the Forest Enterprise car park, walk uphill on a clear path through fine mixed woodlands before dropping down into the glen on a zig-zag path. Keep your eyes peeled for red squirrel. Take care going down this path. At the bottom turn right and follow the path past waterfalls and over small picturesque bridges all the way to the forest road which crosses the glen.
Turn right to the viewpoint and after a breather, follow the outward route to the bottom of the zigzag path and then the lower gorge, over more bridges and past wateralls to emerge on the old road beside the old fashioned cast iron milepost. Turn left, passing holiday chalets to return to the walk start.
