Description

This walk takes you through younger coniferous woodland and a more mature plantation. It crosses the Ault Mhor Burn and takes you through fertile farmland. Passing Milton Croft, the site of a former Meal Mill with the waterwheel and lade still being intact. As the walk takes you down hill it gives you spectacular views of Abernethy Kirk and Castle Roy (a 13th century fortress). Horses graze the nearby fields as do sheep and cattle. The walk returns through Craigmore wood where woodland wildlife is often seen.
