Description
The Girnock valley is a hidden valley just over the hill from Balmoral Castle. This walk winds its way through a mixture of open heather moorland, through woods and borders some marshy land. As well as travelling through some very remote countryside the walk with has wonderful panoramic views of distant mountains and more pastoral views overlooking the River Dee.
