Description

Along the edge of Loch Insh under the canopy of birch trees, the easy trail is well waymarked. A hillier section follows, on ancient glacial ridges and through woodland recently cleared of its coniferous trees.

Access Info

Park cars in the car park at Loch Insh Watersports. Bus service to Kincraig from Edinburgh/Glasgow/Perth via Kingussie to Kincraig, or from Inverness via Aviemore to Kincraig. Walk 2km through village and across River Spey to Loch Insh Watersports.
