Description

This is one of the most beautiful walks on Deeside. It has all the elements of a tranquil woodland walk, a riverside stroll and a moorland walk, all through unspoiled countryside. It begins in the remains of an old Calendonian Pine forest, follows close by the side of the Quoich Water with impressive mountain scenery in the background. The next stage rises away from the waterside, rises up through heather moorland then passes along the side of two remote lochans before making its way downwards, to the Lui Water, offering more wonderful views on the way.
