Description
The early part of the walk is on broad tracks leading from Dell Lodge to Forest Lodge. The paths are still wide and smooth to Rynettin Lodge; from there to Ryvoan Bothy and Glenmore Lodge they are less well surfaced, but still good. Boots are asdvised, particularly for this last section. This is one of the most enjoyable walks in the area. Two cars or a pick up time.
Access Info
To extend the walk by 1.5 miles you could park in Nethy Bridge, near the general store / post office and walk up Dell Road to Dell Farm. But there is a small parking area just inside Abernethy Forest, near Dell Farm.
Go through the gate marked Abernethy Forest and it's a few metres on, on your right (012192). At the Glenmore Lodge end the parking area is outside the Lodge (988095).

Buses operate between Aviemore and Glenmore and between Aviemore / Inverness and Nethy Bridge.
