The route is managed by Moray Council on behalf of Highland Council, the Cairngorms National Park Authority and Moray Council itself.
Along the route the Way passes through varied and spectacular scenery and through the famous Whisky Trail with spurs to the villages of Dufftown and Tomintoul adding to the variety.
The route follows paths throughout, is fully waymarked and is managed by a dedicated ranger service based in Aberlour which can be contacted on +44(0)1340 881266 or email: speyside.way@moray.gov.uk.
