Access Info
Start from beside the bridge over the canal between the B816 Falkirk to High Bonnybridge road and Camelon. The start is only a mile from the centre of Falkirk and the B816 is a bus route. Camelon station is only half a mile away with regular services to Edinburgh and Stirling.
Additional Info
The Falkirk wheel is the world's only rotating boat lift and connects the Forth and Clyde and Union canals. The wheel uses the same energy as boiling two kettles to lift water and boats 115 feet (35m).
