Description
Start from the main car park; walk along the road past the old walled garden to reach Kinneil House. Pass through a hole in the wall to the left of the house, cross a footbridge and follow a faint path across grassland past East Pond and ruins of the Kinneil Roman Fortlet to West Pond. Follow the path round the edge of the pond to reach a clearing in the middle of Kinneil Wood, turn right here then, immediately left and follow the path uphill. At the eastern edge of the wood turn left along a track, after 200yards turn right to return to the car park.

Start from the main car park, Kinneil Estate is one mile from the centre of Bo'ness. Access to the car park is signposted.
