Description
From the car park beside the village hall, follow the track alongside Kirkton Burn, turning left through a gate at Kirkton Bridge and taking the path to the footbridge over the burn. Shortly after the bridge, turn left and go up a track and over a stile onto a forest road. After about half a mile, turn right just past a fenced enclosure and carry on along a path through an area of recent planting. At the end of the track look out for a small path on the right which leads up to Creag an Tuirc. Return by the same path for a short way and turning left to follow a green 'Forest Walk' sign. This leads through the young trees, back to the forest track. Turn left here and return by the outward route.
