Description

Ben Ledi is one of the most prominent hills in the view north west from much of Central Scotland and the views over the central lowlands when looking in the opposite direction are equally fine, as are the view northwards to the high peaks around Crianlarich. The most popular route of ascent is from at the south end of Loch Lubnaig, climbing up through trees on a well marked path from the car park before emerging onto more open hillsides. A rising traverse to the south leads onto the ridge which is followed back northwards to the summit. An alternative to returning by the same route is to continue northwards along the ridge before returning by the path down Stank Glen.

Access Info

There is a large car park across the bridge about 1 km north of the Falls of Leny car park on the A84 (signposted to holiday lodges and the cycle route) where the path starts.
