Description

Craig Phadrig rises to the west of Inverness and although the hill is largely covered by forest, the paths around the hill and to the summit do give some good vuiews out over Inverness, along the Great Glen and over the Beauly Firth. the summit contains a Pictish Fort.

Access Info

Follow the A862 Beauly road to Muirtown roundabout which is 50m north west of the Caledonian Canal bridge. Turn up the hill and follow this road to traffic lights, turn right (again uphill) and follow this road until a single track road turns off right at a bus turning area - this is Leachkin Brae - there are two car parks on this road.
