Description

A popular walk for both locals and tourists alike, from Banchory to the top of Scolty Hill. It also includes an extension which includes the falls of Feugh where salmon can be frequently seen jumping.

This walk leaves the car park then follows a narrow road which leads to Scolty woodland park. Once on the woodland park the path through coniferous woodland starts off fairly level then gradually begins to rise. The wooded area gives way to more open moor.

Access Info

Easily reached by car or bus along the A93. Frequent bus service, No. 201 from Aberdeen. The walk starts at Bellfield car park, Dee Street Banchory.
