Description

A town walk starting off at the former old fishing village of Footdee (known locally as Fittie). After strolling past old fisher cottages where a water pipe is still to be found on the street, the walk continues alongside Aberdeen beach. After crossing the River Don the walk continues close by the river Don, then re-crosses at the Brig o` Balgownie. By way of contrast a riverside walk through wooded Seaton Park leads past St Machar`s Cathedral and on to the historic buildings of King`s College.
