Description
Two walks are available here, this one and a shortened version (1.5m). The short one misses many of the views down into the gorge. It's suitable as a family walk, although for much of it the path teeters on the edge of the cliffs. The path is good, although muddy in wet weather and boots are recommended for the longer walk.
Access Info
1. Randolph's Leap. On the B9007 Carrbridge to Forres road between Relugas and Logie there is a small car park at the roadside at 000495.
2. Dunearn Burn Walk. At Relugas turn west and cross the River Findhorn. Immediately after the bridge turn right on a narrow country road; follow it for two miles to a sign for Dunearn Burn Walk. The car park is fifty metres into the turn-off.

Randolph's Leap. Randolph didn't jump across the river. He was the Earl of Moray in the mid-14th Century. An enemy he was pursuing one day made good his escape by leaping across it here. You might like to visit the nearby Randolph's Leap and the Visitor Centre at Logie (006505), where there are craft shops, restaurant and toilets.
