Description
The walk starts at an entry to Mealmore Forest, ten miles south of Inverness on the A9. It begins in forest, crosses farmland in the valley of the River Nairn, then climbs to open moorland towards the end at Daviot Information Centre, also on the A9. There are beautiful views to the mountains to the north and west.
Access Info
The walk begins at GR 729348, on the A9 about 10 miles south of Inverness. There is a small parking space and a lay-by. The end of the walk is at the Daviot Information Centre, GR 710415, on the northbound carriageway of the A9, 3 miles south of Inverness.
