Description

From Strathmore, follow the clear track which emerges onto open moorland, passing Loch More, continuing along the valley of the River of Thurso. Carry straight on following the track down to the village of Braemore.

Access Info

Drive south from Thurso on the B874, then cut onto B870 to Westerdale. Then take unnumbered road and follow to just beyond Strathmore Lodge. Park at road side.
No public transport.

Additional Info

There is no public transport to either end of the route, so you will either have to arrange to be picked up or return by same route. Check dates of shooting season.
