Description
We set off to walk round Loch Migdale, having read that that was possible, but we were unable to find a path on the south side. Enquiries of local people revealed that no path exists on that side of the loch... so much for guide books! Good views in the glen and along the loch; good paths all the way. The path from Spinningdale to the loch is not shown on the OS map, but it's there - and broad.

The small car park is on the A9, on your left as you enter Spinningdale from the South (GR 674896).
