Description

Follow the coastal track from Sand Lodge, (17th century) with views across to the island of Mousa, down to the Broch of Burraland. Evidence of copper mining opposite broch of Mousa. Seals and seabirds can be seen.

Access Info

Leave Lerwick by the A970 southbound, after 15 miles, turn left at the sign for Sandwick. Follow road till you reach Sand Lodge, just beyond the ferry pier for Mousa.
Public bus from Lerwick to Setter Junction. Adds 1.6km to walk.
