Description
This route takes you up to the cliff tops of Marwick Head, the Kitchener Memorial and seabird city (April-August). Spectacular views of the island of Hoy, before returning to the car.
Access Info
Leave Stromness by the A9075 and head north on A967. Turn left at Twatt, and head towards Marwick on B9056. Continue until you reach the car park, at end of the road.
No public transport.
Additional Info
The Kitchener Memorial was built to commemorate Lord Kitchener and the crew of HMS Hampshire sunk by a mine in 1916.
