Description
The route leads to a medieval parish church of Cross Kirk - the site of thehall of Thorkel Flayer, a Norse landowner in Westray. Look out for seals, settlement ruins in the shore and abandoned crofts.

Access to Westray is either by ferry or plane from Kirkwall.
