Description
The route goes through an area of high quality wetland, which is unusual along an ayre. Look out for cobble beaches, plants and animals. Views of Scapa Flow and the old war ships.
Access Info
Take the main road south from Kirkwall to South Ronaldsay, crossing the Churchill Barriers.
Public buses operate to St Margarets Hope from Kirkwall.
