Description
The route begins at Jarlshof, then follows the road up to Sumburgh Head for spectacular cliffs, puffins and sea birds. Option on return of passing Grutness.

Jarlshof is in the south part of the mainland. Parking available at Sumburgh Hotel.
Public buses operate to the airport.

Jarlshof is an important archaeological site, occupied from Neolithic times through to Bronze and Iron Ages.
