Description
Lying to the south of Aberfeldy, the sheltered glen known as The Birks has long been a popular spot and the well made paths that form a circuit from Aberfeldy to the Falls of Moness make this beautiful place easily accessible. The path climbs steeply past a number of smaller falls to the bridge at the top before returning above the opposite bank.
Access Info
The walk can be started from the town of Aberfeldy but there are two dedicated car parks - an upper and a lower one at the start of the route. These are reached by following the A826 south and following signs to the car park.
Additional Info
A short distance from the beginning of the route is a seat at the spot where Robert Burns was said to have composed his song The Birks o' Aberfeldy.
