Description
Set in 100 hectares of mixed woodland, this trail follows the edge of the picturesque reservoir. The Discovery Trail is waymarked with a yellow sign and the start of the path can be reached via the Birchwood Trail which leaves from the car park. There are several interpretation points en-route where you can find out more about the natural and local history of the area. The route finishes at the Ranger Centre, return to the car park via the main drive.

Great opportunities for wildlife watching, including red squirrels, woodpeckers and roe deer. On the loch you will see grebes, heron and a variety of waterfowl. Crombie is also known for its unusual butterflies.
Designated bbq areas, toilets, rangers centre, picnic tables, play area all on site.
This walk is suitable for all abilities including wheelchair access. Very family friendly.
