The Ettrick Water - Selkirk

Description

This walk starts in Selkirk and runs along the Ettrick Water while occassionaly passing through wooded areas. You can enjoy the birdlife, pause at the cauld (weir), or enjoy a picnic where the Yarrow water meets the Ettrick.

There are also fishing opertunities available along the river. When running full, the white water is quite spectacular making for challenging and very sporting fishing.

Wild flowers abound on this walk.

Walk begins and ends from Victoria Park car park, Selkirk.
