Description

Follow the trail on the northern side of the plantation past a hut circle to the cliff top. Excellent views over Kilbrannan Sound to Kintyre can be taken in on this part of the walk. The spectacular King's Cave at the end of the walk was reputedly the place where Robert the Bruce, in hiding from the English, was inspired by the spider to try,try,try again.

Parking at Torr Righ Car Park, north of Blackwaterfoot on A841.
