Mabie Forest - All Abilities Trail

Description

A circular trail starting and finishing at the Mabie Forest car park. Trees found along the route are a mixture of mature conifers and mixed deciduous, some dating back to 1908. The sensory garden offers a tranquil spot to take a rest and watch the local wildlife. Woodland along the trail also has a fine display of spring bluebells and wild garlic. The Walk is waymarked and has an orientation map board at the beginning of the walk.

Access Info

Mabie Forest is situated 4 miles south of Dumfries off the A710 to New Abbey. A bus service passes the forest entrance.
