Description

This short walk climbs the hills behind Moffat to reach viewpoints looking back towards the town and beyond. The return to the car park passes above ancient woodlands full of wildlife such as red squirrels and roe deer. This walk is waymarked from the start and there is an orientation map board at the beginning of the walk.

Access Info

Craigieburn Forest lies to the east of Moffat on the road to Selkirk and the Grey Mare's Tail.
